With a passion for caring for sick children and kids in need of help, Dr. Escalona’s clinical interests include pediatric acute care, pediatric trauma, infectious diseases, orthopedic and sports Injuries, bedside teaching, and patient advocacy. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis, completed her residency in pediatrics at Los Angeles County/Harbor-University of California Los Angeles Medical Center, and her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Her personal interests include spending time with her family, teaching her children the value of service and volunteering, traveling, reading, photography, and DIY projects.
